On 31 August 2014 we celebrate the Bicentenary of the death of Arthur Phillip. Sydney Living Museums is commemorating the life of the first governor of New South Wales with a program of events at the Museum of Sydney on the site of first Government House. The program includes the dedication of the Captain Arthur Phillip RN Memorial, a symposium dedicated to exploring his life and legacy, and a series of daily tours.
