A significant piece of rail history was piggy-backed into Maitland yesterday.
The tender from the Pacific Class loco 3801 was trucked tothe apprentice training centre atHunter-V-Tec, at Telarah. It will be overhauled over the coming six months by up to 50 apprentices in various trades at the training centre.
