St John’s Catholic Chapel tower unsafe

From the Maitland Mercury report:
St John’s Catholic Chapel in central Maitland has not been reopened because the church tower is unstable and there is a risk it could collapse. Classrooms above the chapel have been closed to St Peter’s secondary school students since December 4 and will no longer be used because of the school's extensive building program next year.
