A $20,000 State Government contribution to the restoration of Les Darcy’s grave site is ‘not enough’ to start work on the project.
“Les Darcy was one of our greatest sportsmen, and one of Maitland’s finest sons, and we need to ensure this memorial to him and his career is preserved for generations to come,” said Lands Minister Tony Kelly.
