Two separate development applications from different areas, both enshrined in history, were approved at Maitland City Council’s ordinary meeting last night.
The low-cost housing first storey development at 318 High Street, Maitland was unopposed and widely congratulated as a means of rejuvenating the Heritage Mall area.
The three-lot subdivision and staged development of three medium density dwellings at Close Street, Morpeth was also approved despite objections from neighbouring residents.
